Hirrd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use the Hirrd platform at hirrd.app.
We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable EU data protection laws.
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: Email address, name (when provided)
- Assessment data: Your Career DNA assessment answers and resulting scores
- Profile data: Skills, work preferences, culture preferences, values, career goals
- Match data: Matching scores, actions (interested/dismissed), feedback
- Messages: Content of messages sent via the platform
- Technical data: Browser type, IP address, session tokens
3. How We Use Your Data
- To compute and display career matches between candidates and jobs
- To generate your Career DNA profile and embeddings for matching
- To facilitate communication between mutually interested parties (only after explicit consent)
- To send transactional email notifications (mutual matches, identity reveals, messages)
- To improve our matching algorithms and platform
4. Identity Reveal & Consent
Your identity (name, email) is never shared with employers or other candidates until both parties in a mutual match have explicitly consented to reveal their identity. This is a GDPR-compliant double opt-in process.

5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Supabase: Database hosting (EU Frankfurt region)
- Vercel: Web hosting
- Resend: Transactional email delivery
- Matched parties: Only after mutual consent (see Section 4)
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict processing
- Data portability
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent at any time

7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove all personal data within 30 days.
